If you're thinking of moving to Saint-Eustache, you may be asking yourself, which neighborhood is best for your family?
Here's an overview of the city's different districts:

But for the purposes of this article, I'm going to break it down into 5 parts and break them down for you.
Saint-Eustache's main neighbourhoods
The old Saint-Eustache district
Let's start with the oldest part to the southwest, and my favorite part of the city to stroll through: old Saint-Eustache. Aaah! there's a lovely walking trail along the Rivière des Mille-Îles and the Rivière du Chêne, and even skating rinks in winter.

A walk on Promenade Paul-Sauvé that feels good!
Take a stroll down Rue du Vieux Saint-Eustache and you'll discover a rich heritage: the Saint-Eustache church, the Globensky manor house, the Petite Église art center and the Légaré mill, to name but a few.
Personally, this is the part of town I get outsiders to visit, because it's so charming. Old Saint-Eustache is where you'll find great little boutiques and interesting businesses, pastry shops, bakeries, historic frescoes and, of course, my Royal LePage offices!
If you're hungry, visit one of my two favorite restaurants: the brasserie Noire et Blanche with its beautiful terrace overlooking the river, or the extraordinary and magical Le Geraldine restaurant, a must-see.
If you want to move to old Saint-Eustache, don't expect a new house. Many are hundreds of years old. You're also going to have more restrictions on renovation and construction to preserve the character of the era. Check with the city to see what can and can't be done with your project in this neighborhood.
The South-East district

Then to the southeast lies the city's oldest residential development. Here, the majority of single-storey homes date from the 1960s-1980s. The neighborhoods are homogeneous and relatively easy to access via autoroutes 13, 640 or boul. Arthur-Sauvé.
These are quiet streets with mature trees forming a magnificent canopy. There are plenty of local services on 25th Avenue in the middle.
Northwest district

Next, let's discover the neighborhood a little further northwest, with more recent properties from the years mainly 1980-2000, except for the new townhouse developments built recently. The northern neighborhood is very family-oriented.

There's also Rivière-Nord park and some fine tennis courts. The neighborhood also includes the Saint-Eustache hospital, as well as several stores and services. The only disadvantage I see with this neighborhood is that you'll have to put up with a bit more rush-hour traffic to get home.
By the way, the industrial district of Saint-Eustache lies to the west of this neighborhood.
Industrial district
Northeast district
The most recent development is to the northeast. Mostly from 2000-2010. There's a large condo development, and then to the east, the development of Saint-Eustache's most prestigious properties. Since the neighborhood is new, the trees are still young.
